Feedback: Waystones/Mapping

I created my whole atlas around finding waystones.
I regal, exalt and vaal my maps.
I focus on boss maps, because they often drop waystones.
I stack MF.
Im still finding t1 and t2 waystones on t12+ maps.
I use the bench to upgrade lowlevel waystones.
I fullclear every map.
I die ~1x per +50 maps - never felt I "lost" waystones because of dying.

And again it happend: I ran out of waystones.
Bad luck? Maybe. Bad design? 100% Yes.

The whole system is horrible. The missing stash is horrible. Finding lowest-tier waystones on red maps is horrible. The mods on waystones are boring, there is no way around them because of the removal of scouring orbs. The whole "map crafting" is horrible. Even the stupid atlas map gives 0 overview and is beyond confusing at a certain point of clearing/mapping. I don't want to be forced to farm/clear the "shitty layouts". The towersystem with tablets is just awful.

Please. Just scrap the whole endgame mapping. It failed on so many levels. Just use the POE1 system - it was one of the best things in POE and one of the main reasons (for me) why POE felt superior to other ARPGs. I don't think the current endgame mapping will reach an acceptable experience ever.

Additional Note:
1-portal maps are way to punishing for new players, but my OP-multiplescreenclear-build doesn't care much. Many of my friends already quit poe2 because of this. Thanks to 1-portal maps, partyplay is a horrible experience too.
