How to search by tiers on trade site? Help with mods with ranges

Searching for mods with ranges is impossible on the trade site. It only gives option for min and max so it obviously doesn't work (and I've tried a bunch of ways). Very poor design. Is there something I'm missing?

A way to search by mod tier would be perfect. But I've tried various words like "t" and "tier" and those don't work. Is there a secret keyword I'm missing?

How do you guys search for mods with ranges? Example: added lightning damage? Thanks!

Curious as well - how can you search for a specific tier roll and not give min max values?
You give min/max values. Which works fine. What do you mean it doesnt work?

Yeah I don't know why they don't have it. Would be useful.

It doesn't work sometimes because those ranges can be altered with enchantments, and suddenly you're getting tier2 modded items included in your searches. If you're looking for all t1 mods that can be a problem, and you don't necessarily want to filter out all items with enchantments, either.

Combined %phys mods on weapons and combined %defences on armours are another good reason to include that parameter in searches, because you can't just search for minimum ranges for both individually, you have to add the values together - and if one range is maxed then the other can suddenly be tier2 and still show up in searches.

It seems like "search by mod tier" would be relatively simple to implement.

Yeah I think it would be good to have. Maybe they are trying to minimise the options for simplicity, but it would be good if there was a way to do it. I agree that the overlaping fields mean sometimes searching by range is not as useful as searching by tier would be.
