Galvanic Shards Broken

I’ve been using Galvanic Shards with my ranger using the crossbow weapon swap. I recently died, and when I started again my fire galvanic shards skill disappeared. I can now only bind load galvanic shards. Furthermore, in my skills screen galvanic shards shows up simply as load galvanic shards. Has this happened to anyone else. I tried crafting a new galvanic shards skill gem and that didn’t work either.

I have the same issue.
I use galvanic shard skill gem and it displays load galvanic shards and doesn't work when used. Ps5

YES - I just switched to PC from Controller. I am trying to set my binds and not understanding wtf is happening.

If I try to pull over Galvanic Shards from the support gem screen, it just randomly binds "Load Galvanic Shards".

Now I cannot set Galvanic shards at all so I can't even use it. I'm going to have to stick to controller until this bug is fixed.

Yes, I can confirm this is broken. I have been using GS for 29 levels. GS was level 7. As soon as I leveled the skill gem GS to level 8, it disappeared off my hot bar. I click in an open key slot and it's not available, even though it is slotted in the Gem config screen. I go to that screen and try to get a copy of it to drop on my hot bar. Doesn't work. I unequip it and re-equip it, no dice still. So I crafted a lower level of GS and drop that in. NOW it appears on my hot bar for equipping. I've confirmed I have enough STR and DEX to use the skill. So it is broken once I leveled the skill from level 7 to level 8.

I've tried many ways to try to get this to work. It seems this bug has returned in a slightly different way. Hopefully other players can confirm this. I've tried removing all equipment to see if any attributes were broken and it was only relying upon base stats. I still had enough STR and DEX to use the level 8 GS. I've tried respecing the passives to boost both stats. Still doesn't work. I see no rhyme or reason to why it breaks between level 7 and level 8 GS.

Please fix this ASAP!

P.S. I'm not hopeful with so many pages of bugs in this game that were introduced in 0.2.0.

To anyone having this issue. You need to use the skill "Load Galvanic Shards" and then use the skill "Crossbow Shot".

The Crossbow Shot will turn into Galvanic Shards

Remeber to put both skills, "Load galvanic Shards" and "Crossbow shot", on your skill binds.
