Jack of All Trades Passive question
just looking for clarification on this passive node.
"2% increased damage per 5 of your lowest Attribute" stat example 76 str 78 dex 66 int Does this take my 66 int and turn it into 26% extra damage? (13 5's times 2) how i read it i want to have my lowest stat as high as possible to maximize the damage. is there anyway in this game to see damage numbers or test it other than doing a map over and over to try to compare? Yes, in the given example, it would mean 66/5*2 == 26% increased damage.
You can of course compare when selecting the passive before confirming it how it will affect your common skill's damage output, though the info is a bit chunky so far. I'm certain somewhat soon the common char planners will have stat breakdowns again. Zaanus:

When I look at my dmg and select Jack of all trades and then unselect it..there is no change either wya, it doesn't seem to do anything, let alone 2% per 5 of lowest stat..which is concerning. I bring up my skills and look at their dmg numbers, no change. Is this not working as intended or is the tooltip not right, does it only work on spells or something. I'm a merc

dumb question, if i got 2 attributes with the same number, do they stack damage?

Definitely doesn’t seem to be working right. My lowest stat is 400 and once I put the trait on my amulet it didn’t move my dps tooltip at all.

" Try punching an Act1 boss or something to see damage difference? Might be bugged then and nobody noticed. |

It often ends up as a very minor addition for most builds. It's increased damage, rather than extra damage or gain % damage.
Meaning that it's added together with other sources of increased damage. You can realistically have hundreds of % increased damage. So let's say your total comes to +300%. +326% is 6.5% increase in actual damage output. It is often still worth it. Also since you tend to take both sides of that passive node circle, you eventually get to slot a Time-lost Jewel there. Last edited by tzaeru#0912 on Jan 17, 2025, 3:43:29 AM
