Early access, ggg I hope you are making changes soon

I'm really glad I held back on buying a more expensive pack (even crazily considered the $210 upgrade).

I've wasted so much time simply trying to recover lost exp at level 87 in tier V maps due to various one shot mechanics. Instant spawn packs that surround and trap you. Stun locks... so you can get trapped and killed. Instant kill boss mechanics cast from off screen.

A real crap fest.

If you don't have uber gear you are going to progress at a very very slow pace and most non-elitist players are going to quit or already are.

Some changes would be simple and significantly improve the experience.

Remove mob trapping mechanics OR really fix it (your last fix did nothing).

Remove the death penalty or significantly reduce it. I mean a lot.

Improve Waystone tier drops to be MUCH closer to the tier of the map you are running. Getting Tier 1-3 maps, or even below 10 (heck higher even) is just absurd.

Improve currency drops. Are you really trying to force players to invest in "increased rarity of items..." on gear to be able to progress at a reasonable rate?

Add a sort function to the stash.

I do enjoy the challenge but so far once reaching tier V maps the experience has been pretty horrible. I may not be the best player but I'm definitely not bad, and the random unavoidable death mechanics combined with the high death penalty (relative to exp gain) and complete lack of proper waystone drops.... close to following most everyone I know who has quit already and moved on because of all of the above.

I am actually convinced that the reason they reused the shell of the original game, and some of its systems, is because they don't have the skill or resources to build a good game from scratch.

SO you have this mix of a game that does some things right, and some things so terribly wrong.

They could have had a huge win by rebuilding the game and refining the systems. Removing the bloat and improving QoL.

Right now it is like there are 2 different teams designing the game and only 1 knows what they are doing.

Exactly I was thinking this earlier. It seems like they wanted to make a new game but really didn't have many ideas for it outside of "make it slower" and "add dodge roll".

Yeah I just don't want that stress after work. The game is stress.

It isn't so bad on the weekends after sleeping in a bit. But right now I have no desire to boot up this game.
