Make Multiplayer Area Requirements during Story Mode more Lenient for Experienced Players
Currently, all members must be up to date on the desired story quest/area to play. E.g. I cannot travel to my friend in Ogham Manor unless I have reached there myself.
This is very frustrating if we play in a group where some people play separately here and there. I am on my 2nd/3rd character paying with new friends, and my characters are either too high level or they are too far behind in the campaign to join them. I have to rush the maps to catch up which is not possible/unfun sometimes. If a user has at least 1 character who has completed the story, they should be able to ignore the quest requirements on subsequent characters to some degree, e.g. within the same Act, if someone else creates a portal for them. The reality is that if one wanted, you could waypoint to the next area, go backwards, create a portal, and allow your new friend to use the portal to skip that entire area and move onto the next one. Most Act 1 and 2 waypoints allow this, and some Act 3 waypoints. Or you can disable level downscaling to crush everything. So the sanctity of story mode is already tenuous if a group wanted to do so. Feel free to disable any quest progress (and no grabbing of quest items) for the player skipping ahead. Maybe add some penalty like not being able to grab loot or reduced xp?
