Is this a bug or intended?

I'm playing a Witch with the Bloodwitch ascendancy, and I have the perk that makes my curse durations infinite. However, my curses are applied through the Blasphemy skill, and when I approach an enemy to apply the curse and then walk away, the curse disappears from the enemy.

Intended. Curses supported by Blasphemy have no duration, so it can't be infinite.
