Boss/Character simultaneous deaths

Something that's extremely bad about POE2 is if you kill a boss at the same time the boss kills you, you lose all the loot if you're solo, the second you revive the entire instance resets to include your loot on the ground, sure the boss is dead, but the loots gone.This is the THIRD time it's happened, and just happened on King of the Mists, and i lost another legendary item.
