Why are trade prices so high?
I am looking to get my 3rd ascendancy and I'm lvl 78 and not one as drop at all I'm looking for one on the trade site and its 1 divine for one????
Also checking trade and other things prices seem to be so high and off with most of stuff put on there, I played a lot of hours haven't had I divine drop either. I know its rng but prices on trade seem to be off, nothing like poe 1 Is anyone else having these problems? Last bumped on Dec 23, 2024, 9:18:37 PM

Inflation in unbalanced economy. Pure GGG classic.
Most efficient way to play is six man party with 500% rarity culler. By "accident" it's also easiest way to play, trivializing all game content. While solo players play "ruthless" mode without drops on low tier maps, party players facerolling game and swimming in divines. Moreover, there is no trickle-down economy. There is nothing you can offer to rich player for upgrades. You cannot target farm some expendables. You cannot fill some demand or niche on market. Worse, to upgrade your atlas you need to compete for boss fragments with rich players. Boss fragments priced around highest tier drop from hardest battles. So again, poor players priced out from progression. Add non-existing crafting to the mix. And you will get current purgatory where players cannot spend their hard owned 10 ex on crafti..gambling because it's statistically waste. And cannot buy upgrades on trade because inflation from rich getting richer is going too fast. And most funny and stupid thing is... all these problems were already solved in poe1. Guaranteed personal boss fragments for atlas progression. Separated fragments to enhanced boss encounters. Target farming on low tier maps. Actual crafting. MF removal. It's like reinventing the wheel. Like zero lessons were learned in past ten years. |

"Why are trade prices high" trade prices aren't controlled, it's a PvP system with the whole world, whoever wants to take advantage and get the richest. How do you expect it to be balanced for you against people who are trying 10x as hard to get rich quick, abuse, bot, RMT, and scam?
It's like expecting to be higher level than someone when he plays 10x as much as you. Last edited by AnimePillowCollector#2255 on Dec 23, 2024, 9:19:35 PM
