100% crashes on R5 7600x in "Engine multithreading" mode
Hi, first of all here's the specs:
https://imgur.com/a/wFObIWT GPU + Chipset Drivers - checked Win11 updates - checked Files integrity - checked Game location loaded in Engine multithreading mode only ones - first time noob location, before camp. When i jump to camp or between any locations game just hangs the system. It seems like its utilizing too much cpu that i can't even switch to task manager to close the process. So i did next: in task manager i just disabled 2 threads of cpu that game can use. This gave me ability to close hanged game from it. With one thread disabled it still hangs the system entirely. But it doesn't resolve the fact that game 100% crashes in Engine multithread mode. Second observation: when i uncheck Engine multithreading - game runs on low fps but it never crashed. Even more inside a location i can easily enable Engine multithreading and it also never crash (until i decide to jump to any other location). So my ordinary startup sequence for now is frustrating: 1. Open game client. 2. Disable Engine multi 3. Disable 2 threads in task manager 4. Load the game into location that i want to play. 5. Enable Engine multi Any time i want to leave to camp or any other location i have to disable Engine multi or game will 100% crash. Its obvious incorrect behavior of game client with multicores when loading resources between instances, and i really hope that you know about it and will fix it. Thanks and have a great day! You're on 24H2. Known buggy release. Downgrade.
If you cannot downgrade, you must reinstall Windows 11 to a version that is NOT 24H2. |
