Trials needs work

Second post but I hope others are echoing the same, trials are not fun. Sekhemas or chaos. The mechanics don’t even feel skill based just really cheap. The honor system is the worst thing in the game. Dropped my controller and now it has stick drift so gauntlets are impossible, not you guys fault but even all the other mechanics are terrible including the gauntlets. Some of the traps again don’t feel like they test skill they just seem really cheap like all you guys were thinking during development is how to make this hard and annoying. Did you consider fun or balance at all. Even with relics I got hit by one trap and lost almost 900 honor and then the ignition for the trap took another almost 300. Trials of sek need to be toned down more than anything else. I beat the two bosses on floor 2 and then the ice one had an on death effect that again took over 800 honor and I just don’t get why that would be added especially if you still have to kill the other boss. The difficulty of this game is not good because it doesn’t make sense like maybe an elder ring. Everything that kills you feels cheap and intentional with the only way to get by it is sheer luck. Skill based difficulty would be fine but I honestly don’t have suggestions on how you guys could even implement it with what’s built. The entire difficulty of the game seems built around cheap ground affects. The mobs from normal to magic to rare do to much damage to make mapping fun and I know everyone is just stacking resistance but why is that the only way? Armor seems useless unless you some how hit endgame on a warrior but evasion seems ok. If you’re not a int based class have to ruin you entire build if you want energy shield. Survivability seems none existent with out perfect gear. If you fail a trial of sek your also now just stuck and can’t back out so you have to close app. How did you guys not notice these things when playing the game? And don’t get me wrong it’s a cool game but everything that seems to be involved in endgame and ascendancy just sucks. The level requirements for your 3rd and 4th set of ascendancy points needs to be lowered the suggested levels are already wrong but why do we need to hit the end of endgame to complete our ascendancy?? Most payers won’t be able to do it in a league and I don’t get gating it only for hard core players. It should be a mid game feature.

I've gotta agree. I made a warrior and decided to go for a low damage, high survivability build. So far, it's been a ton of fun...until the Trials of Sekhemas. Now, my survivability doesn't count for anything because my honor just gets deleted and all of a sudden my lower damage is an enormous liability.

Why even have options for a tanky build if there are specific game mechanics that punish it so harshly?
