Crash in hideout when using wand and shield is equipped

I've tested this 8 times, when in your hideout your game will crash out to desktop when you use a wand attack and have a shield equipped. If you remove the shield and attack nothing happens as soon as you put the shield on and wand attack you crash. This did not start happening until I started using Mahuxotl's Machination, then it started to happen with every shield.

UPDATE: This also crashes everyone who is in your hideout with you.
