Finisher Effects not working

Hi, Purifier's Swordstorm Rare Finisher Effect is not doing anything whenever i kill any rare monsters at all. I have it selected in the Cosmetics > Weapon Added effects tab in the microtransactions. Is there anything else im supposed to do? Maybe this is a bug. anyone else having issues?
