Greater Jeweller's Orb vanished after pick up

So, i picked up a Greater Jeweller's Orb, yet it wasn't added to my inventory. I am not exactly sure whether it completely vanished, or turned into an Orb of Transmutation, as that was the only thing in my inventory at the time.

Don't know whether this is a known bug, just wanted to let you know.

This just happened to me.......... So frustrating.

Picked it up, opened inventory, was not there. Also not on the ground. Poof gone.
