Third Ascendancy Trial Error

I beat the trial and teleported out without thinking about clicking the shrine. After teleporting out there is no way to go back and click the shrine and now I have to do it all over again. Why is this a thing that can happen? Why not let me go back to click the shrine or have a way to claim it in an encampment?
