Question About Trial of Sekhem - Should you lose stuff on failure? Changed from before?
When I played my first Trial of Sekhema I didn't lose relics or the coin upon failure. Now I lost both the relics and the coing.
Is it a bug? Did they change something? How it's supose to work? Last bumped on Dec 22, 2024, 2:12:06 PM

You don't lose the quest "green" invitation to a trial. You can use that one over and over, which will work for 1x Sekhema and 1x Trialmaster (first 4 ascendancy points).
For the two more, you need to find invitations as a drop and you will lose them if you fail. Higher level, more risk, by that time, you know what you are going into. Makes sense for me. Last edited by Sargoth_CZ#3391 on Dec 22, 2024, 7:14:41 AM

This should be clear that not only you lose the coin (this is fair, like it was a ticket) but you lose relics you used. That way you can plan if you want to risk relics or not use them and maybe try to gain relics etc.
But the fact that you gain only new coins of your level means you can't try easier trials to earn relics .... hmmm that is why people don't like the trials? |

" Not quite. The reason every single one of my friends despises it is the honour mechanic. The rest of it isn't an issue. Previously sanctum was optional. So no one really cared. Now that they are forcing it on people - it's an issue. https://www.pathofexile.com/shop - Support Path of Exile!

" You don't lose relics though. Throw another coin in and your relics will still be there whether you fail/beat the trail. Reference: Me dying to 3 floor trail on repeat. Also, if you change character you will have to go grab your relics out of the stand and throw them in the relic chest and insert them into the stand on the new character. |

" Ok not losing relics makes it much better. |
