Trials of Ascendancy

Nah im just done with these trials, i've actually tried and failed way too many times. I have like 150 hours in the game already and have tried for just the 3rd set of ascendancy points from either trial a total of 20+ times between my gemmling grenadier and my Archmage stormweaver. The honor system in the trial of the sekhemas is probably the worst game mechanic ive seen in any game. and the trial of chaos, i guess ive just gotten unlucky with the debuffs ive gotten, which have them stack up even through boss fights is just mental. i feel like id have to over-level myself by like at least 10+ levels higher than the area just to be able survive. And i mean im a hardcore player (not the actual game mode) and all, but imagine how difficult it is for new/casual players. I can keep playing because its still an amazing game and all, but the 3rd and 4th set of ascendancy will just never exist in my gameplay. Which really sucks.

p.s. This is the first time ive ever felt the need to say something about a game online.

Agreed, these need to be optional at least, or remove the one-shot aspect of it.

I understand that there's a lot of stuff that needs more balance passes, but this needs addressing quickly.

Yes whenever I hear developers and streamers say the dark souls of arpgs now I just want to scream because a lot of ppl don’t understand those games at all and developers tend to zero in on the punishment and forget that souls games are fair for most part and death comes from your own mistakes.

PoE 2 punishes you in almost every aspect from drops to unfair deaths I’m surprised they chose to make the game frustrating like this…. ppl sat around a table and all agreed YES!! when they in maps they lose an hour of their progress AND xp brilliant!!

Yeah I just died too and immediately went on forum to search for a whine thread. Trials are beyond stupid. Especially the honor system which favors range classes. For some reason on the second floor I'm getting fps drops after casting Stampede which results in losing all the honor and dying after. Im on tier 8 maps and it was the first time Djinn Barya dropped.

Trials are bullshit. The stupid change they made did fuck all to fix anything wrong with them. REMOVE BOTH OF THESE FUCKING MECHANICS FROM THE GAME THEY BOTH SUCK DISEASED DICK!

The real key for success is paying a carry, that is what i am gonna do, that or wait for the trials to be changed.
