Simulacrum Default Portal Position Spawned Me Out Of The Arena

I'm not sure which part of the arena I was in, but the portal was at the bottom corner of the arena, really close to the wall. It was at it's default position and I had not moved it once during the encounter.

I went to character screen mid-wave, came back, took the portal, and I was outside of the arena. I could not get back in but I could use my frost mages to shoot the enemies inside, and when I finished the wave that way, thankfully the portal moved to another arena and I went back to the character select screen and went back in and I could keep going.

I was almost locked out of the perfect jeweler's orb that dropped after the wave. That was scary.

you mean poe 1 simulacrum?
