Prism of Belief is not increasing damage

This jewel should be increased gem level. It does so on skill panel but the damage won't change. Both the hit part and the Damage over Time (DOT) part stays the same. Relog won't help.

Tried using 1 Essence Drain (ED) on a boss and see how much damage it does. Both in and out of Demon Form (locked at 10 stacks). Both EDs damage the boss the same (not considering the hit part of the ED) with and without the jewel. Socketing it before and after transforming won't affect anything.

Bump, having this same issue. The jewel doesn't add any damage.
