Trial Punishment - STILL TOO HIGH

Had ZERO idea that I needed to use the nodes for a 'time warp' and they would do damage to me on returning.

I genuinely have zero idea why you feel the need to shit on your clientele for NOT KNOWING YOUR MECHANICS.

Talk about ingrateful game developers. You clearly pulled a Blizzard and didn't even open your game client before charging us to play it.

Super, super, super toxic.

Further to 'traps are faster' should mean they are still manageable, leaving an opening literally the width of your character, is honestly ridiculous.

But, I guess you probably want to lose players, as you don't seem to like any of them.

My original character was a Chronomancer. Obviously, after having failed the 3rd trial ~10 or so times I concluded that my build was trash and that Chronomancer was a dead-end. So I rerolled.

After leveling my 2nd char to 76 I went to do the 3rd trial again. Having massively overgeared it and invested heavily into the character, I assumed I'd one-shot it no problem.
I instakilled the first boss. Killed the second pair in a few shots and made my way to the last room. The very last room gave me a random affliction.
The random affliction was no energy shield.
That was a Chaos Innoculation character...

~40 divine character, 16 levels overleveled, stacked with nice relics and I still could not complete the 3rd trial.

I am unable to voice my opinion on trials, as there are no appropriate words to describe how I feel about them.

Right now, four things make me reevaluate my decision to play POE2 EA:
- Trials
- Inflation. Economy and wealth (drops) are scewed too heavily in favour of lategame. Dadgamers play for months without finding a single Divine orb - the starting price on decent items
- Lack of item-inspired build diversity. Not enough cool uniques with weird build-enabling features.
- Lack of build diversity. Not enough cool support gems or keystones. Generally, support gems (and skills in general) have too high cost and too many drawbacks to feel good. Use Comet as an example: >500 mana cost, 2 seconds cast time, cannot move while casting

Both of you just need to actually try to learn the mechanics. Your complaints are just basic mistakes.

This trial is not just walking through the rooms, it's the pathing and the decisions you make along the way that make the biggest impact. And relics.
Watched vid. Did it first try.

Learn mechanics and get good. Really not a hard fight tbh
Punishment ist ALWAYS a Bad Game Design

I literally just said 'I don't want to spend 90 minutes to LEARN MECHANICS'.

The death / reset instance mechanic is too punishing and it's just not worth the frustration.

But lots of people hate to run sanctum so the desire to learn it is low
It's always gutter scum like you defending this crap. You can do everything correctly and still get fucked by random shit. And still, smooth brains 02 thieves like you will protect it.

Trials of Skh and Chaos are the worst way to achieve core power mechanics. This ABORTION of leagues from Poe1 should have been left behind the dumpster.

It's bad, you worse for defending it and deserve the most random annoying shit like stubbing your toe, and hitting your fingers with a hammer every day for defending it.
