Quitting until loot issues are fixed

4 times now I have experienced crashes during the act 1 final boss and the heyena boss death animations (heyena mobs killed me afterwards 1 time to be fair). The feeling of losing the visible loot on the ground is pretty bad. Especailly as loot starved as we are through the acts. The last time it happened I had just convinced my gf to play with me, and losing loot on 2 bosses in a row just drained all desire to play from both of us.

1. Loot during acts needs to be improved marginally.
2. Loot shouldn't disappear from the ground, unless the instance times out.
3. d/c issues are rampant and it makes the game extra punishing due to the above reasons. Also...
4. 1 portal during maps is not enough.

Anyway, this game is AMAZING, and so much fun. But the fundamental issues above go against the nature of ARPGs and as such I can't spend my time experiencing EA while these are present.

If you think loot during the campaign is bad, wait until you reach the endgame. If you’re not a no-lifer who reaches maps 2 days after league start, you’re not going to have any chance at trading for wealth and with the anemic currency drops crafting won’t get you very far either. SSF is even worse.

Loot rewards pre-juiced maps need a massive buff across the board. SSF should be a viable game mode. As is, you could play 1000 hours every league and still end up with mid gear.

increasing drops will make no difference just bring you closed to the upgrade ceiling. acts need meaningful quest rewards with at least one rare per act that will be rog-meta crafted to help gear dependent builds. loot drops need reduction if anything, buff should only be for orbs
You know what the usual responses of many veteran players to these kind of topics:

"It's Early Access".
"Game is easy for me".
"Stop complaining".
"It's still Early Access".
The game throws so much shit at you for free, even to the point that ssf is comfortable to play without hours of grinding?

Feels like people kinda expect PoE1 like loot explosions and levels of power creep, but that likely ain't gonna happen for the next couple of years. Thankfully.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
What does this mean for me as a D4 player who is quickly approaching end of act 3.

I am addicted to this game, but feel a bit hollow knowing that it's an early access with much of the content not added or to be thought of.

When do the leagues start?
bye

After release. So, in about 6-12 months.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

I would stop playing until they flesh out maps or maybe even until the real acts 4-6. I super burned out on poe1 in like 2013 and it killed my desire to play the really good leagues years later.
