Stuck loading into an instance that no longer exists

Hello,

I joined a friend's party while I was in act 2 cruel and he was in act 1 cruel. He was having trouble with the act boss, so I went to teleport to him to help him kill it. We think I clicked teleport as he was entering into the arena, and my game has since been stuck in the loading Ogham Manor screen. He has now killed the boss and the instance no longer exists as he is in act 2. Is there someway to force a character to town?

Things I have tried:
1. Obviously closing and relaunching
2. Verifying game files through steam
3. Switching characters (This lets me load into another character successfully) Switching back did nothing
4. Switching servers
5. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game

Please help! Don't want to start over :(

I'm having the exact same issue with Act 3 Cruel: The Venom Crypts. Still looking for help or a fix.

I uninstalled from steam again and then cleared my steam game cache, can't say for sure if thats the fix, but its working again!

I tried what you said and unfortunately it seems that mine is still having the issue. Thank you anyway.
