Gateway ACT 3 - The Riverbank

I took 30 min break from PoE when the gateway in Act 3 cruel was open. When I returned my quest log said Continue to Cruel mode. When I clicked the Gateway Act 3 cruekl mode it took me back to the start of Cruel. The riverbank lvl 45 mobs.

Same here. When I opened the portal, it went back to act 3
