There is no way of acquiring low level skill gems in the late game

So the problem is that all gems in higher levels drop as high level gems.

The reason this is a problem is because some builds need low level gems for their utility without having the attributes to equip them as high level version.

In POE1 this is not an issue because skill gems drop as level 1. And you can also downgrade gems with a vendor recipe.

In POE2 there seems to be literally no way to acquire low level gems without creating a new character.
Even for those who use trading like myself, there are just no low level skill gems on the market because no one is getting them to begin with except during the leveling up process of a new character.

The ideal solution:
When cutting a gem, one should be able to select the desired level, for example via slider up to the level of the uncut gem.
Alternatively there should be an easy and simple way to downgrade levels of existing skill gems.

Dont they still just drop in low level areas? Pretty sure i got low level items when in beginner areas with a higher level character.
