Stuck in someone elses realm

Hi,
IGN: Torara

My gateway server is Frankfurt EU.

I've somehow gotten stuck in someone elses "Trial of the Sekhemas" Japan realm.
I cannot interact with the relic altar at all which would indicate it's someone elses realm.

I think the reason was that I joined this person's realm for a trade, I then left.
I tried going to different waypoints and acts, still Japan realm.
I tried logging out for 20min in my hideout, still Japan realm.

Also to note all other waypoints and acts etc are all Frankfurt EU, it is only "Trial of the Sekhemas" that is stuck on the Japan realm.

I tried joining a friends party and his server which was Amsterdam EU, I then left the party, went to another waypoint and went to back to the "Trial of the Sekhemas". I was then back in my friends realm on Amsterdam without being in his party.

He logged out, I repeated the action of leaving to another waypoint and then going back to "Trial of the Sekhemas", I was then back in the Japan realm.

I am stuck, I can't interact with the relic altar, I can't force it to another realm. I don't know what to do.

Help.

*EDIT: I literally don't know what happened but after writing and submitting this post I was back in Frankfurt EU for the "Trial of the Sekhemas", I was wrestling with this issue for +1h.
Solved I guess?

My Gateway is Washington D.C US.

I've also stuck in someone else's realm on the Sekhemas map although I'm not sure which realm it's on. I did a trade for a relic there and now stuck in their instanced zone with no way to reset the area or create a new one. I've tried logging in and out, tried changing the gateway. I don't have the issue anywhere else in the game.

same, fix ur game GGG. Been held hostage now for 2 hours now in someone else's instance.

Has there been any update to this? I've got the exact same issue.
Tried logging out for an hour, joining other groups, etc.

Same issue for me. stuck in someone else realm. Tried re-logging, restarting computer, the person started a new trial, we tried teleporting in and out, etc..
I could even join the trial even though i am not in his party.

Same here, went to the trial area to trade for a relic and now can't access the relic altar to run my trial. I'm on the Canada east server, but when I go to the trial of the sekhemas, either in act 2 or 5, I end up on the Japan server, which I'm assuming is the server I went to in order to trade. Tried logging in and out, logging to the Washington server and exiting the game and always end up on the Japan server.

I haven't tried to get my last points on this character after dying at the last boss for at least a few weeks now as I absolutely hate doing them, and now this.

This game is so frustrating is so many ways. Yes I know it's early access, but rushing it out in this state while also delaying a new POE 1 league (which I'd much rather be playing as I'm only playing the sequel because of the delay) in favor of it only adds to my frustration.

Actually, i just exited to login screen and changed my server from Washington to California.

Upon logging in, I was still in Washington. When I went to Sekhemas I was put into the California server, and was no longer in someone else's realm.

I was able to successfully enter Sekhemas.

After that, I went back to the Washington server and was in my own realm again.
