Trade shop not working

I was trying to use Direct Whisper to buy a piece of gear I wanted but it gave me an error saying I need to be "in-game" to do this even though I accessed it from in game. Additionally, I tried to Copy Whisper but it wont let me patse anything in game. I have already linked and verified my Playstation account to my POE account please let me know if I'm missing something. Thanks
