POE2 Exp Suggestion

Hey there,

I am hyped with POE2 but one thing that annoys and pains me and many of my friends is the exp penalty on death. It wasn't enjoyable in POE1 and it isn't in POE2 either.

Not every person has insane reaction times to hit the log off button or dodge out of everything before dieing and I and many others are no fans of being punished in a video game when all we want is to enjoy and play and eventually reach max level.

Suggestion:
Instead of punishing players for dieing instead reward the players who play exceptionally well. For example make it so people who dont die for a specific portion of their experience bar get a buff which increases their experience gain by 10/15/20%. So basicly every time a player made 10% of their experience bar after their last death, give them a buff to increase their experience gain by some amount.

I know there are plenty of people who say "get good" and stuff like that but I think (and many other people I know and talk to) that rewarding people for good play instead of punishing them for bad play is the better way to design a game.
And if this makes the "grind" to level 100 shorter then just increase the amount needed for the later levels. This way people who strive to reach the maximum level eventually can get there by just playing.

Of course if the majority of the playerbase is of different opinion so be it. At the end of the day its the developers choice to change how things play out.
