Kitoko's Current Jeweled Gloves Not Giving 'Electrocution' Buildup to Shockburst Rounds

I currently have 'Kitoko's Current Jeweled Gloves' equipped. Their attributes read: 'Lightning damage from hits contributes to electrocution buildup'. This applies to Galvanic Shards. However, it doesn't give electrocution buildup to Shockburst Rounds even though they do lightning damage that hits.

Even a support gem that gives electrocution buildup doesn't work on Shockburst Rounds. It is as if Shockburst Rounds' hits aren't registered at hits.

Dude, it says so in the skill description "100% less electrocution buildup". That means there is 0 electrocution buildup but can still proc Neural Overload support (Primed for Electrocution)
Not a bug as the skill gem clearly states there can be no electrocution buildup from the skill.
