Magma Barrier buff doesn't scale with duration

Magma barrier spirit gem currently does not scale with duration, despite having a duration tag and a buff with duration.
The description also does not specify that these durations are fixed. Either the description needs an extra line specifying these values are not affected by duration, or the skill is bugged and you can not scale the skill with duration nodes/gems. Last bumped on Sep 4, 2025, 1:31:15 AM

just tested both less duration andmore duration gem and a increased duration from the tree and none work either,and also tested on a second char with more than 100% increased skill effect duration from the tree and it doesn't change anything either on the tooltip or the actual gameplay,so i don't know you got it to work,actionhanz,but it doesn't for me either

Its 3.0 and after the magma barrier changes it takes 8 seconds to arm, has the duration tag and the support "compressed duration" as suggested.
None of the skill duration nodes or support gems affect the 8 seconds arm time and its the only duration effect of the skill. Either the tag shouldn't be there and the gem should not appear as a suggested gem, or Magma barrier arm time is bugged and does not scale as it should with skill effect duration nodes and gems. |

+1 it didn't work in 0.2 either despite it having the duration tag. Was hoping it would be fixed for 0.3. Have to rethink my starter now.

Fix it asap plz. Obviously a bug. Really ruin the experience using magma barrier as main attack skill.
