Problem with Eldritch Battery

So basically i decided to do some energy shield with passive skill points+items and chose Eldritch Battery and then take perk that make my mana go first instead of HP but passive skill not convert all of my energy shield into mana, it is bug or what?

Having the same problem. When I put in my point for Eldritch Battery I go from 2025 energy shield and 1262 mana to 1053 energy shield and 1823 mana.
