A problem with people selling uniques... maybe

Is it just me or are many of the people who are selling Unique items listing them all for 1 exalted orb (exact price) then when you send them a tell about it they either de-list the item, raise the price on the trade site and repost or just flat out ask you for more currency?

I tried to buy a few items last night and getting a simple pair of boots took an hour and so many tells that I hit my limit just to end up paying a divine for an item listed at 1 exalt just to end the pain. I don't remember this horror back in PoE1 when I played a few years ago

The current system favors scammers and wasting your time.

I've spent the last three days on an exhausting pursuit of one single item and all I've gotten is a hard time.
