Allow the client to run at 2x speed to solve the 'game too slow' complaints.
Just hit me that some youngsters watch YT at 2x speed. so why not let them run the game at 2x speed? it would solve the complaints that the game is too slow, while not affecting ppl that like the current game pacing. Unless i'm missing something absolutely obvious about this i see no drawback to it. This setting would work just like loot allocation for parties

They watch YouTube videos at 2x speed because the entire video is available to watch/browse/etc
The content of the game is available in real time, your junk (literally) that drops from maps and enemies doesn't exist until you kill those enemies. GGG servers run at 1x speed. That is where your content comes from, the client can only process data as fast as it recieves it. And it will never recieve it at higher than 1x speed |

" well yes the server ticks will have to match the 2x speed, but i don't think this is technologically impossible to achieve these days, and considering the financial success this shouldn't be that outlandish. hell they can prob implement some predictive approximation to even mitigate the server side resource use to do this with less than 2x the server load. |
