GGG, grow a pair, and address this absolute arse performance
Seriously, forget the holidays, most of us work up until Xmas, and with the performance so atrocious on who knows how many peoples ps5s that paid money to get access, this is unacceptable. Not even an acknowledging remark. Pcs great I love a pc but not everyone can afford a great one and besides, mid grade pc are running this at higher res without this weird grainy effect going on at stable frames. Ffs this is so disappointing ggg

" Let them enjoy the holiday and come back refreshed as they say. Your frustration is warranted though. Console players have been languishing and do not feel cared for. After buying the $100 supporter pack on PS Store I had to shell out another $30 on Steam because some issues on PlayStation are so bad(not being able to trade being a major one). The console known issues page hasn't been updated since dec 6th. We need better communication. |

its not like i expect them to fix the console versions overnight, but zero acknowledgement of the issues and some address things are still being worked on is kind of concerning. poe 2 is a good looking game but not THAT good that it should be running like this with all the weird grainyness on ps5. this is the console that has visuals like the demons souls remake for crying out loud.

For me on ps5 FSR balance option fix this.

" Yeah let them enjoy.Like with poe1.How many holidays they enjoyed before optimization?4,5?Thats my biggest issue. Its absolutely same like with poe1.PC all, consoles nothing. And they still cant say a word... |

The biggest problem with all this as mentioned in this and other posts is the lack of communication, apparently GGG promised to give more attention to consoles in POE2, but this is a lie, because as other players have said, not a single mention was made of the console issues. It is true that they have fixed certain things that have to do with playing with a controller, I understand that they created a whole team for the console version, but the PC team was the one that fixed those issues and moved to the console branch... All we ask of GGG is that they be more transparent about it, because if the situation with POE2 on console is going to be the same as with POE1, the truth is that things don't make me want to play their game on that system, and that's sad, I have no doubt that they will fix the issues, but again... we only ask for communication, if there is communication, believe us, we can wait.

what makes me doubt theyll fix the issues is that they seem to be completely ignoring them. it is most certainly fixable, theres ZERO reason ps5 shouldn't be able to run this game perfectly well and without all the ugly graphical issues, but will they actually fix it? i almost doubt its even within the skill range of their current supposed console team seeing as how it released like this in the first place. although the recent poe1 ps5 version looks and runs perfectly fine so no idea what happened here.

" The PoE1 PS5 version still has plenty of bugs, maybe you are lucky and didnt encounter them, but they are there. Moreover, it took them quite some time to bring it up to that point and there have been massive complaints through the first halve of settlers league for example, because the game was simply unplayable in Endgame for weeks. Credits to GGG for ultimately fixing at least the horrible performance issues the game had, but it was a very rocky road up to that point. |
