Merc or Ranger

I am currently in endgame playing a Warrior and its not that fun. I am going to start a new character and was curious as to what I should play, Merc or Ranger?

IMO the ranger (deadeye ascendency) is powerful at all stages of the game, easy to play, easy to gear for - and you can probably just home-brew some builds by following obvious paths (eg, lightning arrow wants projectile damage, lightning damage, and elemental damage nodes) and this will take you pretty far.
I'm not saying you'll be running the best build in the world and destroying pinnacle bosses but you can probably get mid-maps just with some DIY setup. |

merc is very clunky to play crossbows have allot of bugs and the reload mechanic is not fun. ranger is 100% better all around
