Not being able to change runes make me not want to play anymore

I hope they read this. Just got huge weapon with the rare +4 levels upgrade and miskenly put two wrong runes into it, now that cost me 40% dps. Like wtf u give us 20 diff runes all with same light blue color. Let us change the fckin runes already. You want your player base to be happy right. Put urself in my shoes Imagine you get a huge weapon upgrade and fudge it, makes me not want to play anymore for such a bad system to not allow a change.

I mean, I understand your frustration, but this is also entirely on you for either not reading, or speed clicking. If they were to implement that, then besides carrying around different charms for different elements and poison, everyone would be carrying around an entire inventory of runes and equipment with resistances would be completely pointless as a drop. Defeats the entire point of maxing out all your resistances pretty much.

Edit: I would like to add that they could color the runes to avoid confusion, but I feel like that's asking for too much and players should just be more careful when they know (cause the game most certainly tells them) they are making permanent and irreversible changes to their gear.

I DO think you should be able to replace a rune.

I do NOT think you should be able to just remove a rune. In this game, trade is backed up by official and it's an important decision.

I'm fine with games requiring you to pay attention to what you're doing.

Same. I like basic crafting and the general possibility to alter your items. Don't like them to be bricked forever, except when you corrupt them.

It shouldn't be too easy though, so I think it would be a reasonable price if the previous rune vanished on inserting a new one, so you have to think at least a bit before just slamming things.
Or you might need to use a special orb first to clear the slot, like orb of scouring.

Hope they will add some more crafting options in the future, even if they appear only later in the game when you know the basics.

I personally am fine with the way it currently is. If you socket the wrong rune it's on you. At some point everybody has to be responsible for their own actions.

Agreed, put new and destroy the old is acceptable
