Artificer Orbs and Rune Sockets isn't functioning properly

All the way from Act 1 i'm getting spammed with various Runes, Runes that would help a lot for solving issues with low resists.

Problem is very little gear actually has sockets and Artificer orbs are super rare.
Found a total of two and im on act 3 cruel(40 hours played).

Sure you can Salvage socketed items for Artificer scraps. But that whole system is frustrating.
First of the bench is only in act 3 and overal its pretty damn dull having to gather scraps like that.


Anyone else think they should just greatly boost drop rate of artificer orbs so we can actually use the crafting mechanic?
Especially since new players won't use the salvaging bench and miss most of that crafting mechanic.
Crafting bench was fantastic for solving stat/res issues. Id say either make the whole socket system accessible or give us back the crafting bench.


(Also let us remove/replace runes in sockets)
