Party Downscaling - Stats Remaining Downscaled

I recently joined a level 30 friends' game to trade him some items. I invited him to party and joined his game while he was at the end of act 2 before the final boss fight. Cleared some mobs around him and traded. Left party, ported back to town and noticed my health was at 1600/2100. My character is completely bricked now and I have absolutely no reason to log back in - guess this is what I get for being a minion build loser. I searched the forums and only saw a post from December 9th where another player had a similar issue with no reply, so I bumped that thread as well.

I'd appreciate if other players could provide some fixes to try or some communication from the Devs about this issue as I've not seen it in the known issues page.


--Things I've tried to fix the issue with no luck:--

* Used the waypoint to teleport to acts in normal and cruel as well as my endgame Hideout.

* Tried entering a map(lost tower) to see if I would be scaled back.

* Tried taking damage to see if the health bar would reset.

* Returning to character screen and joining a session again.

* Logging out of the game and re-logging.

* Joining a friends party who was level 69 to see if I would scale to his level.

* Slamming my face against the 1 key and praying that my health increases back.

* Disabling level downscaling in the "Game" tab in settings and joining another players party(low and high level) as well as re-logging.

The only logical time this could have happened IMO, is when I left his party while remaining in the Dreadnaught location and leaving in a portal after. I'd assume this wouldn't be overlooked, but I can't think of any other reason why this might happen.

I've tried to include as much detail as possible for any Devs that are hopefully reading this. Please ask me for anything else you might need.
