PoE 2 Party Play Loot distribution

Guys, I think the party play really needs an overhaul. I'm not sure where to start, but it seems like there's a penalty for playing in a party. It looks like two players get the same amount of loot as you would in single-player mode, but you can only grab half of it (permanent allocation on). What I enjoy most about this game is playing the campaign with a friend. However, when you only get half the loot, it makes the game so much more frustrating.
Also, it seems like there's always one player on a complete loot-ban for hours before that role switches. My colleague just got seven exalted in a row, while I didn't get any relevant currency at all. The other day he didn't get more than one or two rares while I got—I don't know—fifteen?
Please adjust this so that party play can actually be fun.

I have the same feeling. I think if you have permanent allocation on it should just double or triple the drop based on the number of party players.

Otherwise you right, it feels super frustrating to have mobs to drop x amount of items which then divided between players. And that amount is the same whether you playing solo or in the party of 5.
This is absolutely a thing, I play with a Monk and a Warrior with my Archer and we run on Permanent Allocation, and have changed up the party leader each day to see if that helps.

For the last 4 nights the monk has been given loot drops for gold, currency, and unique items but for Blue and Yellows almost never. It is almost 80% of all fights clusters end with him only getting gold. While the warrior and myself pick up backpacks full of gear, the monk is going back to town empty every trip. This has become a running joke now.

We seem to see even loot drops with only two of us running, but add in the third and the monk goes poor, always the Monk and always with three. That said the Monk and Warrior live in the same house and share an external IP, this may be a factor.
