Am I alone in thinking that the only endgame this has is the exact same as Last Epoch?

I would assume they made what is there now quickly so there's some endgame, and more will come just like we'll expect to see 2 more acts or so.
It's probably a lot more than PoE 1 had at this stage, namely maelstrom of chaos. Zaanus:
