Poe 2 trade site not working

As stated by the title its not working. ive quadruple checked to make sure i was on the poe 2 trade site rather than the first in case i was going crazy. Whenever i try to click to whisper said player for instance for jewellers orbs it says that i need to be in game. I am in game to cover all bases but nothing i do (relog, restart, even restart of computer) fixes it.
