Gem Stash Tab sort by Gem Level?

So in the Gem stash tab, when I choose to sort items by "Gem Level", the game sorts my gems into two groups: "Level 1" and "Level 2-19".

How is this useful, if I may ask? I'm not getting it.

Shouldn't it separate every level of my gems? Have a section for each level.

Try the Sort Item By: Base Level. That should sort them the way you want.

Sorting by base level, it just puts all my already-cut gems in the "Level 1" section, and only the uncut gems are separated into each individual level.

What I want to do, is to sort my already-cut skill and spirit gems by the "gem level", and put each in their own section.

So say I have two Spark skill gems, one is at level 3, another at level 7. I don't want to see both just listed in the "Level 2-19" section. I want the level 3 gem listed in a "level 3" section, and the level 7 gem listed in the "level 7" section.

I'm having the same frustration. The current system makes it difficult to tell when you've already cut a gem unless you have the icons memorized. I've cut more than a few duplicate support gems because of this.

It still needs some attencion with the sorting...

But I really would appreciate if the icon of cutted gems would be different. They really look alike each other very easily
