Trader Scammers

This is getting very frustrating, I have been trying for an hour to buy a specific unique helmet and every time I see a new one pop up, I try to message the player, but never get a response, OR;

I see the the item changed in pricing after the trade systems sends them a PM.

I wish we could give feedback ratings for people that do this, reached out to 10+ sellers so far, not one responded, I am seeing bots grab items to resell and really wish the devs would put a stop to it!

What's the point of the economy system and trade system if GGG is going to let manipulation on this level destroy it all?

I think that's more new players trying to figure out the market than anything else. New players don't know how to find out what their item may realistically be worth on the market. Nor do most of them have any tool installed that quickly checks averages for them that gives them a way to roughly estimate a reasonable price.

So one way of getting to the price is pricing your item for price X and see what happens. If you get 100 messages, you can be sure you have something good and you have to price it a lot higher. You're also not gonna reply to dozens of people in this scenario. If nobody messages you at all, you know you either set an unrealistic price or your item isn't worth anything.

You can also see that there's a massive amount of clearly unrealistic prices on the market. I'm still a noob myself but I know enough to know that item x/y is not worth 100 mirrors or 500 divines. But people see these prices and price their items the same and then you have tons of them.

you can't message them too fast, they will think their price is too low.
it's a science ;) you gotta wait just the right amount of time.

i don't think you know what the word scammer means

I’m just tired of people overpricing terrible rolls.

My biggest issue is the same either bots or idiot new players listing items for 1 or 2 div for 1 or 2 ex items it's ridiculous. Plus some items when they do get listed properly either bots or again misinformed idiots buy the items and relist for exacerbated prices...
