Having an issue with EB and Everlasting Gaze

Regarding Eldritch Battery conversions.. before using it I have around 2.3k ES. And 800ish Mana. After applying EB I only have 1.8k mana. Is this correct? My thoughts were it converted ALL ES to mana??
And any ES % nodes i apply aren't increasing my ES or my mana after.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or missing? I tried refunding EB to see if it needed to do like a reset but it doesn't change anything.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
