Help Needed: Account Linking Issue – Don’t Want to Lose My Main PC Account to play on Xbox

Hi everyone,

I’m currently facing an issue with account linking in Path of Exile 2, and I could really use some advice. When I try to link my Microsoft account, I get a message saying it’s already associated with another account (#8143). However, I want to keep my main PC account (#1832) and link the Microsoft account to it instead.

A warning says that proceeding will permanently associate my Microsoft account with #8143 (Xbox), which is not what I want. I’ve already emailed GGG support about this but haven’t received a response yet.

Has anyone dealt with this issue before?

Is there any way to unlink the Microsoft account from #8143 without merging accounts?

Should I wait for GGG support to respond, or is there another way to get this fixed faster?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
