Temporal Rift Reservation
So when you add Supports like Vitality into Temporal Rift they first work as intended, adding spirit cost to Temporal Rift and providing you a buff.
However unless you have an amount of unreserved Spirit that at least equals the amount you reserve with the Support gems you put into Temporal rift you cannot activate it anymore, because the spirit cost also apply as casting cost for the active. That effectively doubles the spirit costs of those support gems. Last bumped on May 13, 2025, 11:02:00 AM

same issue here, but I think there is a hidden spirit cost multiplier on this skill, before the patch it would say that you don't have enough spirit even though you did, now it doesn't even say the skill is disabled or that you don't have enough spirit.
![]() right now the skill is not working and it doesn't say it is disabled and I have 19 spirit left on bottom right. I have to remove a support gem of at least 15 spirit for it to work somehow. really confusing |

Same issue here. I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out what the issue was. Thank you for putting into words my brain couldn't parse. |

" By default, Temporal Rift doesn't have a spirit cost. The issue, described in the OP, is that adding a reservation to it with Support Gems adds reservation to both enabling Temporal Rift so you see afterimages, and to activating it to return to the oldest afterimage. |
