Movement animation on molten burst, can it be removed?

Hi GGG.

Been playing molten burst. The forward moving animation is making it incredible hard to move around on boss fights.

It's also not a melee skill, so don't see the point of moving closer.

Can this please be rethought or maybe adding a "don't move while using" that actually makes you stand still?

Or even better, for all skills make them work like spells and bow/crossbow so I can move in the direction I want, ail my mouse where I wanna swing, and that works?
