Australia Server Lag

Hi There,

As mentioned in the title, during peak gameplay hours and some off-peak hours the Australia server performance is terrible. Getting unplayable lag that is getting me killed. It is not related to network issues.

Issues:

- Severe rubber banding
- Lagging/Teleporting

I also have the Auckland server selected (my local) however I am constantly shifted back to the Australia realm which has far worse performance.

I am getting 25ms solid when server performance is fine (playing on ethernet with gigabit). However when it's peak hours its spiking between 30-60.

Seems as though the resources are under provisioned.

Being able to permanently select the Auckland server is preference. However I can also play Australia if the server performance is improved.

Hey this has been a massive issue for me also.

Gameplay stutters to a slow powerpoint slideshow, then zooms x10 speed unpredictably.

Australian servers were stuttery and laggy at EA launch, and apear to be getting worse.

I'm in Victoria, and try to go aukland servers, but during peak demand, it looks like I get pushed back onto sydney servers...


fix AMD series crashes also please.

yeah for me it just started today. Unbearable rubber banding is making it near impossible to play. I hope it gets fixed soon :(

Not sure if this relates to region or game code or graphic settings, I have been experiencing shuttering since 17th, now it is getting worse.

There are post about same issue from other regions as well.

started getting this just now. so sad :((( burned a few t15 and t16 maps already thinking it was the instance

Good to know it isn't just me, pretty much unplayable at the moment.

Likewise, started yesterday.

No latency or jitter issues to other servers, just POE2 in Aus.

was fine during the day again since morning, now it's bad in the evening at 7:12PM GMT+11. serious rubberbanding. i notice it started again after my character dies

EDIT: game is seriously unplayable. no recourse except to wait in the morning again tomorrow until it gets better I suppose. changing to NZ realm doesn't change it either.

in australia playing on the australia realm, just yesterday around peak time (~6pm Australian Central Daylight Time) started getting really bad lag in maps, now the next day it's happening again at the same peak time ~7pm right now. no signs of internet issue on my end. please check if aussie servers are getting overloaded or something during these times

edit: update i just switched to Auckland and managed to get in an Auckland server map and the problem is gone, game is working much better, seems like it is to do with the aussie server!

Also getting very bad server rubber banding lag as well?
