overpricing trade
Whats with the trade site every person is way over pricing everything, any thing decent is up for 20-70 divine which is about 800+ exalt, not sure what has changed over last few days, to make prices skyrocket.

Rare Bug currency checkpoint farming and inflation after...
|
|
I am on maps and everything is so damned expensive. Even 10 exalt is a lot of farming for me (maybe 10-15 hrs) and yet any decent item is 50+ exalts.
I can't afford anything. Almost playing SSF on a trade league :D |

yeah, the game is no fun anymore...gz GGG

Players reach maps and get more currency. More currency on the market implies less value of currency. Also, don't compare exalts in poe2 to exalts in poe1. They have drastically different droprates.
You can farm the bug, but you're not getting "inflation inducing levels" of currency from it. In the same amount of time you get way more currency from higher tier content. In short: droprates are low - people complain, game no fun etc etc ggg increases droprates - people complain game no fun etc etc Last edited by AlvinL_#4492 on Dec 18, 2024, 4:02:57 AM

I've been posting everything at 1ex and then just verifying with someone when they pst me if it is a reasonable price or if they wanna negotiate. Economy is way too in flux rn for there to be an understood value of any currency IMO

" Your delusional if you think this is a normal inflation rate. Items that were 1-10 exalts are now 300 exalts 24-48 hours later. I bought a nice rare armor for 45 exalt 2 days ago, a worse armor than mine is now listed for 30 divines. People are scamming like crazy and/or there's some disturbing levels of RMT going on. |
|
The main issue is that while exalts did crash in value from beetle tech (which got fixed), everyone panicked causing divines to shoot to the moon.
On top of that, people have lost their minds when they converted prices to Divines. Something that was listed for 800ex, that would now be worth lets say... 50:1 ratio, 16 divines.... people instead for whatever crazy reason just lists the item for 30 divines instead. And then other peopel with similar items see that and start listing their stuff for those prices, and then that completely insane price range becomes "the norm" which is just sooooo toxic and aweful. |

Seems like we have bigger problems than bug farming, then.
