“Error overwriting PathOfExile.exe after patch”

I’m having an issue after downloading the latest patch. When I try to run the game, I get the following error:

“The executable could not be overwritten with the new patched executable. Make sure PathOfExile.exe or PathOfExile.tmp are not still running. You may need to restart your PC.”)

I have already tried the following:
• Restarting my PC
• Closing all Path of Exile processes in Task Manager
• Running the launcher as Administrator
• Disabling my antivirus temporarily

The error still persists. Has anyone encountered this before, or does anyone know a possible solution? I would appreciate any help!

The right procedure is:

I tried removing the PathOfexile.exe again.
And then renaming PathOfExile.tmp to PathOfExile.exe
