Can't unearth unique corpse anymore

There was a cheese strat before where you could unearth the corpse of a unique monster then reload at checkpoint to fight it again. Looks like you can't target their corpses with unearth anymore. I was doing it on the monster in the poison bloom area.

Anyone know if you can still blow them up with freeze to stop them from leaving a corpse and keep the farm going? I don't really have freeze on my build in any amount.

Still seems to work on rare monsters at least.

EIDT: Tried to do some freeze, successfully froze the mob and killed it but it just unfroze and did the death animation. Looks like this is fixed.
